Blog of a veggie lady who can't stay in one place for too long, loves to dumpster dive, loves to craft and can rant about feminism for hours! Just little notes and photos from my travels and the qwirky, fun, arty and ridiculous things I've seen! (and things I've found in bins.)

The Great Storm Cat by Nicola Bayley (from The Mousehole Cat by Antonia Barber and Nicolar Bayley)

Now I’m watching my second obscure Christmas film, The Mousehole Cat. This is not a great animation, but I still think it’s charming, it reminds me of being a kid, is beautifully narrated and the original illustrations are just stunning. I want to go to Cornwall now.

I added 3 more images to the pink pig competition! I’m Kim Searle incase people don’t know! Two multi layered screen prints from my second year dinosaur project, one of my illustrations of Finland.

Also, Laura Horsfield just entered, she’s another woman on my course who does some really lovely prints.

Today I’ve been on the lazer cutter alllll day. The lazer cutter is a bastard and it constantly breaks down, and the computer keeps crashing, but sometimes it comes out with pretty things like this!

Yesterday I did a mobile workshop with Donna Wilson. We were told to tell a story through the mobile, I chose the Owl and the Pussycat and turned an old hymn book into this! I’m not gonna lie, I’m more proud of this thing that I made in 5 hours than anything else I’ve made this year!
