Blog of a veggie lady who can't stay in one place for too long, loves to dumpster dive, loves to craft and can rant about feminism for hours! Just little notes and photos from my travels and the qwirky, fun, arty and ridiculous things I've seen! (and things I've found in bins.)
This is where I live. It’s full of warehouses, brutalist architecture, old factory chimneys, and it’s usually grey-skied and grim as fuck. But then, sometimes Huddersfield steps up, and is okay.
Today Huddersfield really is paticularly pretty =]
We got stuck overnight in Neuchatel (next to the French border) on our way back to Besancon. Due to the strike the train wouldn’t go to the next stop which was over the border. Neuchatel is quite small, with one full hostel and the cheapest hotel being €110 a night. So we spent the night sleeping in a train station, shopping centre, infront of a church and in a second smoke filled station waiting room the next morning. Finally we got the train back, and saw the first very early morning very pretty frost of the year =]
It makes for a good story anyways =]
